Im aztekischen Originaltext (Sah3,3) zur Sah.3,1 1 wird das 'anecuyotl' als ihr 'mamatlatquitl' 'ihr auf dem Rücken getragene Devise' bezeichnet. (Il s'agit ici d'une erreur il faut lire îm-âmatlatqui et non î-mamatlatqui).
    Huitzilopochtli besiegt die Centzonhuitznahua und nimmt ihnen ihre Rüstungen, ihre Devise, das 'anecuyotl' ab. Abweichend hiervon finden wir im aztekischen Originaltext zur Sah2,24 und 2,34 die nach oben sich verbreitende Krone des Gottes, die im spanischen Text als ein korbartiges Gefecht beschrieben wird, mit dem Namen 'anecuyotl' bezeichnet.
